When I started plugging my phone to charge tonight, I noticed that my phone would miraculously restart and stay stuck on the "Nextbit Robin" screen with no indication that my phone is charging or not. When I try to restart it with the power and volume buttons, the LED blinks; it is until I disconnect my charger that it will restart normally. What's going on? I haven't dropped my phone or damaged it in any way.
My wife's Robin did this yesterday and pressing and holding the power button didn't make it reboot like it would on a Samsung. After a while I thought of pressing both volume up and volume down and then holding them while holding the power button--that rebooted it and so far so good.
From the forums here it looks like the cable they provide has issues. A friend told me this before we bought this phone and so I bought one from amazon. unfortunately my wife was still using the nextbit cable at work, which is what I *suspect* may be the issue.
