Re: Nextbit Robin Factory Images

@cyanogen I'm newbie in Android development, so sorry if it's a crazy question, but couldn't you use something like that:?

"dd if=/dev/block/platform/soc.0/f9824900.sdhci/by-name/modem"

That code put the "NON-HLOS.bin" in /sdcard/ of my Robin, but I don't know if that's what you need.

Yeah, but that means I need to install and old factory ROM, wait for an OTA, then extract it- assuming the firmware was updated in the official April release.

What we do at Cyanogen (and Google does as well) is to pack these all in the factory images we're distributing. When userspace (RIL, etc) gets out of sync with the firmware (modem, etc), really bad things happen.

[ Edited ]

@kenshinhimura in order to remove TWRP you need to flash stock recovery, runinng the following (while in bootloader/fastboot mode):

fastboot -i 0x2c3f flash recovery recovery.img

(download the recovery image with the zip in this thread)

Re: Nextbit Robin Factory Images

You have to boot into fastboot and run "fastboot oem lock". It will wipe your data though, same as when you unlocked it.
